The food is good and prices are great. Service is hit or miss with some rude bartenders both the good ones tend to even it out. Relaxed environment with live music worth stopping in if you're in the area.

10/5 stars - we love the food, cold drinks, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere - We always feel like family here. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone wanting to visit St Mark's.

So the food is good but do not say you are open till 10pm and it is 9:25pm an y’all are closed!!!. FIX YOUR TIMES.. 35 minutes before closing timing is ridiculous:. Disappointing.

The best fries. Seriously. Even the last bits were good cold and that says a lot. The menu has a lot more choices than their burger and fries but they are an excellent choice for an introduction. Quirky decor and an amazing wooden curved bar that floated out the flood from Hurricane Michael. Friendly staff and owner. Definitely make the detour.

We have almost met everyone who works here and they are all awesome. The hamburgers are delicious , the fries are ... well the best we have tasted. We travel a lot. The jalapeno hamburger at sapp brothers in Iowa exit 10, comes in at a three , but cooters is a 1. The beer and wine are good too.

OMG the best wraps in town by far. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with french fries the fries was amazing the buffalo sauce inside the wrap was phenomenal! The service was great never had to ask for a refill and she was Johnny on the spot every time. And writing this review just made me realize what my dinner plans are tonight! I hope this review helps y'all . Give them a try you won't regret it.

Laid back, mostly outdoor seating. Lots of locals and Harley riders. People bring their dogs. Go inside to order, they will bring your food out when ready. Some seating inside and they had some sports on TV. Live music sometimes outside. Bug spray on table for some tiny gnats. Awesome burgers!!! Bottled beer and Bottle of seagrams sangria. Seating is a variety from old lawn furniture to bar stool. Right on the road so no view of the river. But for burgers this good who cares. They do take credit cards and just run a tab for you. We will return!

Cold beer, great bacon cheese burger and great service.

Rode the Tally to St. Marks trail. Stopped at Cooters for a beer and burger. Great little joint, guess it gets pretty crowded on weekends but I was here mid week. Burger was spot on, opted for chips instead of the fries, didn't feel the need to haul them back 16 miles up the road! They have a good selection of can/bottled beer and a couple on tap.Will make this a regular stop when in the area. Thanks Cooter Stew Cafe.

Great food, waitress need help.. She was completely overwhelmed by the fact of a large party. She was trying.. But.. Only so much she could do.. 2 hrs for a burger and friends.. Good burger.. But damn.

A real insider tip in our favorite city. Delicious burgers and fries. Nice staff and reasonable prices. we came specially from Germany.

Great burger and very good service. I doubt that a restaurant in a shellfish town will ever be known for its burgers, but that’s what I felt like having and it was really good. The place was very busy while I was there and it was obvious that the two waitresses were running at top speed. Still, service did not suffer for it. They checked back often and kept my drink filled. Obviously skilled at what they do.

The food is great! Most importantly the staff is wonderful! I have a severe allergy that makes it difficult for me to eat out. The waitress was very good about checking and making sure I could eat the food and was friendly. Will come back!

Heard great things about this place so I called in an order to go cheeseburger fries potato salad and cheese cake said wait 30 min. I wait the allotted time and went in to get my order and they lost my ticket all 3 waitresses were running around looking for it. I asked if it was even started she said no but we will rush it. I said that defeated the purpose of calling it in I didn’t have time to wait. I was disappointed that I couldn’t try it out for myself!

I am sorry that I did not try this place sooner I always went to the other spot near by and Cooter stew cafe beats them hands down for quality and taste.They have a small menu but that means they can focus on making each meal really tasty. The atmosphere is that of a small fishing town bar/cafe real down home. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was prepared with care and pride and man was it good.

This is our new favorite burger joint and it's in our backyard! The people are the best, very personable and friendly. The burger and fries are outstanding. Do yourself a favor and skip the place on the water across the street.... come here! No frills, good food, good people.
